New Release: Single Malt KOMAGATAKE Asagi madara no Sato 2023
Hombo Shuzo Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the release of a new product, “Single Malt KOMAGATAKE Asagimadara no Sato 2023”.
Product Description
Miyada Village in Nagano Prefecture is the home of the Mars Shinshu Distillery. Here, at “Asagi madara no Sato” (Village of the Chestnut Tiger Butterfly), many Asagimadara (Chestnut Tiger butterflies) visit every year in late September, seeking the blooming Fujibakama flowers.
The “Single Malt KOMAGATAKE Asagi madara no Sato” series features packaging adorned with the Grand Prize-winning entry from the “Asagimadara no Sato Photo Contest,” held annually in Miyada Village. This release is a single malt whisky with an unfolding elegant aroma that evokes the image of Asagimadara butterflies gathering on Fujibakama flowers.
The photograph used on the package is titled “Gathering in Paradise,” a work by Mr. Utsugi Hagiwara that won the Grand Prize at the “Asagimadara no Sato Photo Contest 2023.”
