New Release: Single Malt Komagatake Asagimadara no Sato 2024
Hombo Shuzo Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the new release of “Single Malt Komagatake Asagimadara no Sato 2024”.
Product Description
Miyada Village, Nagano Prefecture, is home to the Mars Shinshu Distillery. Every year in late September, many Asagimadara (Chestnut Tiger butterflies) visit the “Asagimadara no Sato” (Chestnut Tiger Butterfly Village) here, drawn by the blooming Fujibakama (Thoroughwort) flowers.
“Single Malt Komagatake Asagimadara no Sato” is a series that features the winning artwork from the “Asagimadara no Sato Photo Contest” held annually in Miyada Village. This release is a single malt whisky with a gently spreading, sweet, and harmonious aroma, reminiscent of two Asagimadara butterflies dancing in unison.
The photo used on the package is “Tobu” (Jumping Dance) by Mr. Atsuyuki Kobayashi, which won both the Grand Prize and the Art Label Award at the “Asagimadara no Sato Photo Contest 2024.”
