Product Description
The Minami Satsuma region in Kagoshima Prefecture is one of Japan’s leading sweet potato-growing areas. This Honkaku Imo Shochu is made with high-quality, mineral-rich sweet potatoes cultivated exclusively in contracted fields in this region, and prepared using black koji. Furthermore, this is a limited release, aged for one year, and selected from the finest genshu (undiluted shochu) distilled in 2024. This genshu, with not a single drop of water added, has a roasted aroma reminiscent of baked sweet potatoes, and a rich, syrupy sweetness and umami. Please slowly savor its mellow and sweet flavor.
