Product Description
“MARS MALT LE PAPILLON” is a series that expresses the splendor of Japan’s natural environment and its four distinct seasons—which form the whisky’s maturation environment—using motifs of butterflies native to Japan. The motif for this release is the “Benihikage” (Erebia neriene), which primarily inhabits grasslands above 1,500 meters on Honshu and is designated as a Natural Monument in Nagano Prefecture. This is an exquisite triple cask single malt whisky, distilled at Mars Komagatake Distillery, and vatted from malt whiskies aged in wine casks.
