“Single Malt KOMAGATAKE IPA Cask Finish” is a single malt whisky elegantly crafted by finishing it in ex-IPA casks. These casks previously matured India Pale Ale (IPA), a generously hopped, moderately dark beer brewed at the Minami Shinshu Beer Komagatake Brewery.
It offers a refreshing aroma reminiscent of mint, gracefully layered with cask-derived vanilla sweetness and a vibrant, lime-like fruitiness. A crisp, bitter finish—a distinct character of the IPA—brings the entire profile together smoothly, culminating in an exceptional whisky that makes for a truly outstanding highball.
