Mars Komagatake Distillery was established in 1985 in Miyada Village, at the foot of Mt. Kisokomagatake in the Central Alps mountain range of Nagano Prefecture. Blessed with a cool climate and high-quality water, the distillery, surrounded by lush nature, allows its whiskies to mature slowly in the quiet flow of time, continuously crafting a diverse range of whiskies. “Single Malt KOMAGATAKE” was launched in Sept. 2025 as a standard single malt whisky, created by vatting a wide variety of whiskies from the distillery to pursue consistency in flavor through the art of blending.
