MRAS 1.8 liter Bottle Wine

Enjoying wine more easily

As the name implies, 1.8 liter Bottle Wine comes in 1800 ml bottles.
These bottles meet a variety of expectations, such as "to be enjoyed at a reasonable price for a dinner party" or "for business use or for drinking in large numbers", and can only be produced in Yamanashi, a major wine-producing region.
It is said to have originated from the use of 1.8 liter bottles for sake, the so-called 'Isshobin', when wine production first started in Japan.

Affordable wine for evening drinking brewed in Yamanashi

Japan's unique 1.8 liter bottle, the "Isshobin."

Yamanashi Prefecture is one of Japan's leading grape-growing areas and a famous wine-producing region in Japan. The history of Mars Wine also began in Yamanashi in 1960.
Since then, under the theme of "harmony of mellow flavor and elegant fragrance," we have been striving to produce prestigious wines that are richly scented by nature from grapes grown in the soil of Yamanashi.
The 1.8 liter bottle "Isshobin" , a standardized bottle unique to Japan, is a reminder of the history of wine production in Japan.
