Kumamoto Bartenders Project Blended Whisky
Blend for Kumamoto Earthquake Recovery Support
In April 2016, bartenders in Kumamoto who were affected by the Kumamoto earthquake established the "Kumamoto Bartenders Project (KBP)" for the purpose of local recovery, and created an original blended whisky. Bottled with the cooperation of whisky culture researcher Mr. Mamoru Tsuchiya. This product, blended from multiple genshus, features a faint peaty aroma and a soft, long-lasting finish. *A portion of the sales of this whisky will be donated to the "Kumamoto Castle Disaster Recovery Support Fund" through the "Kumamoto Bartenders Project" to support the restoration and reconstruction of Kumamoto Castle. Hombo Shuzo supports this project and participates as a cooperating company. The voluntary organization was established by bartenders in Kumamoto who were affected by the Kumamoto earthquake in April 2016 with the intention of "bringing back vitality to their hometown, Kumamoto."
