Mars Komagatake Distillery is located in Miyada Village, Nagano Prefecture. Every year in the latter half of September, many Asagi madara butterflies visit the "Asagi madara no Sato" to see the blooming flowers of the Fujiwara plant.
The "single malt Komagatake Asagi madara no Sato" series features a single malt whisky with an elegant aroma reminiscent of the Asagi madara butterflies gathering around the Fujiwara plant. The packaging showcases the winning artwork from the annual "Asagi madara no Sato Photo Contest" held in Miyada Village.
The photograph used on the packaging is titled "Gathering in Paradise" by Sora Hagiwara, the winner of the Best Photo Award at the "Asagi madara no Sato Photo Contest 2023".
