The "Single Malt KOMAGATAKE Limited Edition 2018" is a single malt whisky bottled in 2018.
It is crafted from malt whiskies matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and American White Oak barrels in the beautiful natural environment of Shinshu.
It harmonizes aromas of ripe plum and flowers with a hint of peat. On the palate, citrus notes unfold, leading to a long and pleasant finish.
Seven years have passed since distillation resumed at Mars Komagatake Distillery (formerly Mars Shinshu Distillery), and our whisky stocks have been maturing steadily.
For this edition, we selected malt whiskies aged for over 3 years in ex-Bourbon and American White Oak barrels. This 2018 Limited Edition serves as a precursor to the future standard "Single Malt KOMAGATAKE."
