The special single malt whisky is distilled at Mars Komagatake Distillery (formerly known as Mars Shinshu Distillery), aged for over 3 years in bourbon barrels, and then finished for over 1 year in empty red wine barrels from Voyager Estate, a winery in the Margaret River region of Western Australia known for producing high-quality wine. It has an attractive pale rose color, with fruity aromas of grapes and pomegranate harmonizing well. The taste is smooth with a fruity flavor, offering a pleasant balance of richness and sweetness, and a delightful lingering finish.
