2014 Vintage Matured on Yakushima Island
Distilled in 2014 at Mars Komagatake Distillery (formerly Mars Shinshu Distillery), this single malt whisky was matured on the island of Yakushima, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site located approximately 60km southwest of the Kagoshima mainland.
From the Mars Yakushima Aging Cellar, five ex-Bourbon barrels were selected and vatted.
This whisky exudes a powerful woody aroma and a sweet scent reminiscent of cinnamon, retaining a youthful vigor.
