The "Mars Tsunuki Distillery" was born in November 2016 in "tsunuki," the birthplace of hombo sake brewing. The genshu, made from high-quality spring water from the Kurata mountain range located to the east of the distillery, has been maturing in an environment with a significant temperature difference, where it can get as cold as below freezing in winter despite the warm climate. And now, we are pleased to announce the release of the first single malt whisky bearing the name of "tsunuki," the founding place, called "Single Malt Tsunuki THE FIRST."

The shining amber color reflects a maturity beyond the years spent aging, and the rich and elegant sweet aroma reminiscent of vanilla and maple syrup, along with the fruity notes derived from genshu that evoke flavors like banana crepe, adds depth. When tasted, it offers a substantial and profound flavor with a full-bodied lingering finish, hinting at the further potential of Mars whisky.

This bottle marks a new chapter in the history of over a century since its founding in tsunuki.
