Mars Tsunuki Distillery was established in November 2016 in Tsunuki, the birthplace of Hombo Shuzo.
Crafted using high-quality spring water from the Kurata mountain range to the east, our whisky matures in a climate defined by significant temperature contrasts—warm summers and winters that dip below freezing.
We are proud to announce the release of "Single Malt TSUNUKI THE FIRST," the inaugural single malt bearing the name of our founding home, Tsunuki.
Its shining amber hue reflects a maturity beyond its years. A rich, elegant sweetness reminiscent of vanilla and maple syrup harmonizes with fruity notes derived from the spirit—evoking banana crepes—to add depth.
On the palate, it offers a substantial, profound flavor with a full-bodied, lingering finish, hinting at the future potential of Mars Whisky.
This bottle marks a new chapter in a history spanning over a century since our founding in Tsunuki.
