"Yakushima Aging" Blended Malt Japanese Whisky – 2025 Release
Yakushima, a World Natural Heritage site, is an island of steep, rugged mountains, blessed with an abundance of pure water.
"MARS The Y.A." is a Japanese whisky crafted by aging malt whiskies from both our Komagatake and Tsunuki distilleries in the unique environment of our Mars Yakushima Aging Cellar.
The "#04" is a vatting centered around a core of malt whiskies matured in ex-Bourbon barrels.
Its profile is a complex tapestry of aromas—earthy nuances reminiscent of the moss blanketing Yakushima's forests, hints of peat, and layers of tropical yellow fruits—leading to a rich, deeply satisfying, and lingering finish.
