Mars Brandy Hoken 1998 Aged 23 Years
Mars Brandy Hoken 1998 Aged 23 Years
23-Year-Old Japanese Brandy, Vintage 1998
We have produced a vintage brandy wine using carefully selected domestic grapes at Mars Yamanashi Winery, and distilled it in 1998 at Mars Komagatake Distillery (formerly known as Mars Shinshu Distillery) using pot stills. This wine has been aged for a long period.
We blended four barrels of genshu that had been sleeping for 23 years in the aging cellar surrounded by the cool and rich nature of Shinshu.
You can enjoy its elegant and rich aroma, smooth and mellow taste, and refined flavor brought about by long-term aging.
* "Hoken" is derived from "Hoken-dake," a peak in the Central Alps where Mars Komagatake Distillery is located.
