8-Year-Old Blended Japanese Whisky
In September 2020, Mars Komagatake Distillery (formerly known as Mars Shinshu Distillery) underwent a complete renewal after 35 years since its establishment.
To commemorate its completion, the "MARS WHISKY Asagimadara" was released, a memorial bottle that blends malt whisky distilled in the first pot still in Shinshu for over 8 years with domestically produced grain whisky aged for over 8 years in Shinshu as well.
Enjoy the refreshing aroma and taste reminiscent of the forests at the foot of the Central Alps that surround the distillery.
*The illustration on the label is a piece by the artist Tomokazu Nakajima, depicting the butterfly "Asagimadara" that visits Minamishinshu Miyata Village where the distillery is located around September every year.
