Shinshu Komagahara Yama Sauvignon
Wild Yama Sauvignon from Komagahara
The Yamaso Vineyard grapes, cultivated in a hedge style by the producers of the "Central Alps Mountain Grape Village Creation Promotion Conference," have a "strong backbone" taste with "high sugar content" and a "firm acidity" due to their "small black-purple grains." "Shinshu Komagahara" is a red wine that brings out the characteristics of the Yamaso Vineyard grapes harvested at a high ripeness and condensed stage. It is aged for several months in the optimal natural environment at an altitude of 798 meters before being bottled. This red wine exhibits a vibrant purple hue with abundant purple pigments, carries the aroma of Cabernet Sauvignon, and offers a unique flavor that evokes the wildness and nostalgia of mountain grapes. It is a masterpiece of red wine with a dignified style. *Yama Sauvignon is a crossbreed of mountain grapes and Cabernet Sauvignon.
