Kagoshima's traditional products, "imo shochu" and "tinware". Since ancient times, Kagoshima has been praised for the deliciousness of imo shochu distilled in tin worm distiller.
However, the handmade and costly tin worm distiller have been replaced by stainless steel snake pipes with the passage of time, and now they are rare and precious items that are hardly seen.
Honkaku shochu "suzugama light cloudiness" is an unprocessed imo shochu distilled in a traditional handmade tin worm distiller, which retains the oil that is usually removed, resulting in a rich flavor and a slight cloudiness in both aroma and taste.
