The "First Drops" from a Tin Worm Still
Honkaku shochu "Drops of Tin" is a Hanatare shochu that is bottled only with the first distilled portion that drips from the traditional Satsuma tin worm distiller distillation machine. This first distilled portion contains plenty of the umami components of shochu condensed. It features a distinctive, vibrant aroma of the first distilled portion and the characteristic smoothness of tin worm distiller distillation, creating a unique flavor profile.
