Yakushima Daishizenrin Imo

From Yakushima's Great Natural Forest
Since its establishment, the handmade kame jar brewing, koji making in the koji room, fermentation in the kame jar, and traditional production method using old-fashioned wooden tools have been passed down to the present day at the handmade kame jar brewery "Yakushima Denshogura". Honkaku shochu "Yakushima Daishizenrin Imo" is made at this "Yakushima Denshogura" using high-quality sweet potato from Yakushima as the main ingredient and Yakushima's soft water, and it has a rich aroma and mellow taste influenced by the yeast "Kura no Sei" that has settled in the brewery over the years. It is an imo shochu brewed in a handmade kame jar using traditional spring water. *The label design is by Yuko Takada, a painter living in Yakushima.
