The Tankan citrus is the undisputed king of fruits signaling the arrival of spring on Yakushima.
We use fresh Tankans carefully cultivated by local farmers, fermenting them with "Yakushima Senju Natural Yeast" harvested from the island's forests.
This liqueur features a refreshing aroma and a gentle sweetness characteristic of the fruit.
The packaging and label artwork was created by Yakushima-based artist Tomoko Kurotobi.
*Tankan is a specialty product of Kagoshima Prefecture, and Yakushima Tankans are officially designated as a "Kagoshima Brand" product.
